Are we awake?
Those who are reading this are surely awake. On the physical level, the eyes are reading and on the mental level, the mind comprehends. This fact is so simple and easy to understand since it is related with our physical and mental world, which we experience through our sensory organs.

Are we awakened?
This question has a different meaning altogether since it is related with our spiritual world, which is subtle. It is beyond the gross and mundane. Till the time we are not fully aware of the presence of the divine energy within us and around us, we are not yet awakened. We have not yet understood our inner power and potential.
